Dead Sea:
The Dead Sea was amazing. It made you feel so soft and relaxed. The salt burned any open cuts, so don't shave a few days before. And definitely don't put your head under water or touch your face because it really burns your eyes. It was weird to float on top of the water and to basically walk on water since it gets deeper. You definitely have to have balance because it's easy to lose balance and end up floating on your back or stomach. Which is scary because then you're struggling to get your legs underneath you and to make sure no salt water accidentally splashes in your eyes as your body is rising from underneath you. The water was warm. It was almost like a sulfur pool, but not as hot. The hotel we stayed at was right on the beach. It was called the Leonardo Club. I'd give it probably 3 stars. The view was great. The room was great. The sulfur pool was great. The food was great, but there were always so many dishes and cups that weren't completely cleaned. Plus the robes they gave you usually had yellow or brown stains. The staff was nice and spoke English though.
